on saturday we went and bought a christmas tree. our family tradition is to make a trip out to this small village that has a bunch of families selling the trees right out of their garages, driveways or barns.
it's so much fun hunting for the tree that's just right while drinking hot wine, eating waffles and freezing our toes off. once that tree is found it's of course time for more food!
i'm pretty sure logan could eat all day long anyway. he also loved riding on his brand new tricycle (yes, it says puky, i know, husband laughed pretty hard) and playing with my brother's girlfriend's phone. it's amazing how easily he can unlock that iphone and open different apps. kinda scary actually...
so what are your christmas tree buying traditions?

What a beautiful tradition, and love the photos! We did something like this with our friends this season.

Fahrrad... ;)
LG & eine schöne Weihnachtszeit Euch!
It looks like you had so much fun! Cute cute photos!

What a fun and special tradition! I have never had a real tree...can you believe that? I think next year might have to be the first. I really want to take the boys to pick one out. :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, I was wondering if I read the tricycle correctly! Lol!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like such a warm and loving family tradition. We don't really have traditions in our house except that we GET a tree. That's about it.
But I want to do something like that every year with my son, start a nice family tradition and just go up to the tree farm, dress super warmly, wear a rainboots and get dirty to find thee perfect tree.
:)
I love your photos
Sounds lime a fun time! Love the pics!
